Wednesday Advanced Take-A-Hike Wednesday May 7th we'll do a new hike, leaving at 8:00 AM from the Feria, driving to La India and hiking La India loop. I haven't done this hike before, but estimate it at 2 hours over gravel streets with moderate hills. Let's hope I'm somewhat correct. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots. Monday May 12th (International Nurses Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike the Bennett Trail loop. This is a 2 hour hike over a rainforest trail with substantial hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 5 miles, 11,400 steps. Bring water, a hiking stick and wear hiking boots. Wednesday May 21st (International Mother Language Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria and hike the Jaramillo Centro loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with 1 steep and moderate hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty. Wear hiking boots and bring water. Thursday May 22nd we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike La India. This is a 1½ hour hike over a gravel street with moderate hills, level 3 for distance and difficulty. Wear hiking boots and bring water. If interested email [email protected].
Friday May 23rd (End Obstetric Fistula Day and World Turtle Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike Ricardo Perez.
