Friday April 22nd we'll celebrate International Earth Day and leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, drive to and hike Horqueta. This is a 2 hour hike over mostly paved streets with several long steep hills, level 6 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 3.4 miles, 8600 steps, 600 feet vertical. Bring extra water. Saturday April 23rd we'll celebrate World Book and Copyright Day and World English Language Day and leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1 and hike the new Central Park loop. This is a 1 hour hike in town, essentially flat. See you there - we'll see the progress they're making with the park. Show up or email [email protected].
Monday April 25th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, drive to the Climbing Wall and hike to/from the Haunted Castle. This is a 2 hour hike over paved streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5½ miles, 11,700 steps. Bring water. Afterwards, let's meet at Sabroson #1 for breakfast. Tuesday April 26th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, drive to the Climbing Wall and hike to/from the Haunted Castle. Wednesday April 27th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, drive to Alto Quiel and hike to/from El Salto road. This is a 2½ hour hike over a paved street with substantial hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty. Bring water. Show up or email [email protected].
Friday April 29th we'll celebrate International Anti-Nuclear Test Day and leave at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, drive to Alto Quiel (as we did Wednesday) and hike the Finca Lerida road. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over a paved street with many moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty. Bring water. Show up or email [email protected].
Saturday April 30th we'll celebrate Anti-Enforced Disappearance Day and end the month by leaving at 8:00 AM from Sabroson restaurant #1, driving to and hiking the Los Naranjos loop. This is a 1 hour hike over paved streets with moderate hills. Bring water. Show up or email [email protected].
