Wednesday August 3rd we'll celebrate International Watermelon Day and leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria and hike the Jaramillo Centro Little Italy loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with 1 steep and several moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty. Bring water. If interested email rimerman1@gmail.com.
Friday August 19th we'll celebrate World Humanitarian Day and leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike Tree Trek. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over a gravel street with a long gradual hill and a steep hill at the end, level 5 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 4.1 miles, 9200 steps. Monday August 29th we'll celebrate International Anti-Nuclear Test Day and leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike the Bennett road. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over gravel streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots.
