Monday July 4th we'll celebrate US Independence Day and leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike the Ricardo Perez road in Jaramillo Arriba. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over gravel streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5 miles, 11,400 steps. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots. In consideration of the current protests and disruptions, especially lack of gasoline and diesel, hikes will be avoiding driving to remote trailheads as much as possible until the situation is resolved.
Therefore Friday July 15th we'll celebrate World Youth Skills Day and leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria and hike the Jaramillo Centro Little Italy loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with 1 challenging hill, level 7 for distance and difficulty. Bring water. If interested email rimerman1@gmail.com.

With the gas crisis over, Saturday July 30th we'll finish July by celebrating International Friendship Day and Human Trafficking Day and leave at 8:00 AM from teh Feria and hike to/from past Jaramillo road.
