Monday September 4th (International Bacon Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to Jaramillo Arriba and hike the Ricardo Perez route. This is a 2 hour hike over gravel streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5 miles, 11,400 steps. Bring water and wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
Tuesday September 12th (International Youth Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike La India. This is a 1 hour hike over a gravel street with moderate hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. Bring water and wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
Friday September 15th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to Palo Alto road and hike to/from Tree Trek. This is a 2½ hour hike over a gravel road with a long gradual climb followed by a steep hill, level 6 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 4.1 miles, 9200 steps. Bring water and money or snack at the restaurant.
Wednesday September 27th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike the Artillera loop. This is a 2 hour hike over a rainforest trail with many challenging hills and terrain, level 7 for distance, level 9 for difficulty. Bring water and hiking stick and wear hiking boots and bug repellent. If interested email [email protected].
