Friday July 12th (Malala Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike La India. This is a 2 hour hike over a gravel street with some moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5 miles, 10,400 steps. Bring water and wear hiking boots. Saturday July 13th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to and hike Jaramillo Centro road. This is a 1 hour in/out hike over a gravel street with moderate hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. If interested email rimerman1@gmail.com.
Monday July 15th (World Youth Skills Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to Jaramillo Arriba and hike the Ricardo Perez route. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over gravel streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5 miles, 11,400 steps. Bring water and a hiking stick and wear hiking boots. Wednesday July 24th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria and hike the Jaramillo Centro-Wilson bridge loop. This is a 2+ hour hike over paved and gravel streets with 1 steep and several moderate hills, level 8 for distance, level 7 for difficulty. Bring water and wear hiking boots. Friday July 26th (Panama Grandparents Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from the Feria, drive to Palo Alto and hike to/from Tree Trek. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with a steep hill at the end, level 5 for distance, level 8 for difficulty, 4.1 miles, 1790 feet vertical. Bring water and wear hiking boots.
