The chamber music returns to the Fundación Biblioteca de Boquete!
On Sunday, October 13th, at 4:00 p.m., we invite you to enjoy a special concert with the Grupo de Música de Cámara Clarinon, who have previously delighted our community. This talented group of professionals is dedicated to sharing the beauty of classical, Panamanian, and Latin American music while inviting us to discover the fascinating instruments that make up their ensemble.

The Boquete Library Foundation is pleased to present the third edition of the 2024 Book and Literature Festival, under the theme "Bridge of Wisdom." This event will take place on October 25 and 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the programming will be aimed at individuals over 18 years old.
As part of this third installment, we have designed a space dedicated to literature and knowledge, with activities for those seeking new perspectives and personal enrichment. We will feature presentations by authors, creative workshops, discussions, and more, all with the goal of fostering learning and reflection. Additionally, renowned bookstores will offer a wide selection of titles for all tastes and ages.
Don’t miss the 2024 Book and Literature Festival, where every book is a bridge to wisdom, and every page offers an opportunity to keep learning.

Join us for a morning of wellness at the Boquete Library Foundation's event room. We will kick off the festival with a Yoga class led by Tania Cabal on Friday, October 25, followed by a Tai Chi session with Gilberto Barría on Saturday, October 26.
During the festival, you can also visit the stands of Health and Hospice, Caja de Seguro Social de Boquete, and more. Do not miss the opportunity to participate in our engaging conferences and book presentations.

Celia Bassols, an American author now based in Panama City, has had an incredible journey. In 2018, she moved to Panama seeking new opportunities. During the pandemic, Celia took on a new challenge. She revisited an old assignment from one of her professors—the premise for came to life, a story crafted in the tranquility of Tranquilo Retreat, a writers' haven in Coronado.
Set in Washington, DC, the story follows Lucy Campbell, who finds a body while walking her dog. After reporting it, she meets Joe Griffiths, head of the Harbor Police. But the killer knows Lucy saw him and has three days to silence her.
Celia's gripping narrative draws readers into a world of mystery and tension, promising a thrilling experience.
