Monday December 2nd (International Slavery Abolition Day) we'll start the month leaving at 8:00 AM from Multibank and hiking the Stairs loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets wil substantial hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5.7 miles, 11,600 steps. Bring water. If interested email [email protected].
Friday December 6th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to the Wilson bridge and hike the Lucero Short. This is a 2 hour in/out hike over paved streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5½ miles, 10,600 steps. Bring water. If interested email [email protected].
Saturday December 7th (International Civil Aviation Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Palmira (passing San Francisco plaza) and hike to/from the Dairy Farm. This is a 1 hour hike over a paved and gravel street with slight hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. If interested email [email protected].
Monday December 9th (Panama Mothers Day observed) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to and hike the Pipeline Trail. Hopefully it's hikable after last months rain. This is a 2 hour in/out hike in the rainforest, level 7 for distance and difficulty. Bring water and hiking stick and wear hiking boots. There is a $5/$3 jubilado trail fee upon exiting. Tuesday December 10th (Human Rights Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to and hike the Santa Lucia loop. This is a 1 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with moderate hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. Wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
Friday December 13th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to and hike Los Pinos. This is a 2+ hour in/out hike over a paved street with substantial hills, level 8 for distance and difficulty, 7 miles, 14,500 steps, 2844 ft vertical. Bring water. If interested email [email protected].
Saturday December 14th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Caldera and hike to/from the Caldera Dam. This is a 1 hour hike over a paved street with slight hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. Bring water and wear hiking boots.. If interested email [email protected].
Monday December 16th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank and hike the Pianista Loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved streets with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 6.1 miles, 13,800 steps, 1150 ft vertical. Bring water. If interested email [email protected].
Tuesday December 17th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to and hike the Santuario Loop. This is a 1 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with moderate hills, level 3 for distance and difficulty. Bring water and wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
Friday December 20th (Panama Day of Mourning [US Invasion] and International Human Solidarity Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Cefati and hike to/from La Estancia. This is a 2 hour hike over a paved street with moderate hills, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 5.3 miles, 10,300 steps. Bring water. If interested email [email protected].

Tuesday December 24th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank and hike the Cemetery Loop. This is a 1 hour hike in town over paved and gravel streets with slight hills, level 2 for distance and difficulty. If interested email [email protected].
Saturday December 28th (Panama Innocents Day [April Fool]) we'll leave at 8:00A M from Multibank, drive to Caldera and hike the village. This is an essentially flat 1 hour hike over paved and gravel streets, level 1 for distance and difficulty. If interested email [email protected].
Monday December 30th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank and hike the River Walk loop. This is a 2 hour hike over paved and gravel streets with 1 steep hill, level 7 for distance and difficulty, 6.3 miles, 14,500 steps. Bring water and wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
Tuesday December 31st we'll finish the month and year with the hike that was rained ou Saturday - Caldera Village. We'll leave at 8:00 AM from Multibank, drive to Caldera and hike through the town. This is a 1 hour hike over unpaved, gravel and paved streets essentially flat. Wear hiking boots and bring water. Let me know if you'd like to meet me along the drive, such as near the checkpoint.
