Wednesday April 5th we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Ivans market in Alto Boquete, drive to Caldera and hike the Overlook trail. This is a 2 hour hike with moderate hills, level 6 for distance, level 7 for difficulty. Wear hiking boots and bring extra water. If interested email [email protected].
Wednesday April 12th (Human Space Flight Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Ivans market and do a new hike on private property - Rio Encantada in Caldera. This is a guided 2+ hour hike over trails with substantial hills, level 7 for distance, level 8 for difficulty. Parking is very limited, so please carpool. This is restricted to current Take-A-Hike active advanced hikers. Please RSVP to me so I can report how many are going - he prefers ~15 max. Obviously bring water, hiking stick and wear hiking boots.
Saturday April 22nd (International Earth Day) we'll leave at 8:00 AM from Ivans market, drive to Caldera and hike to/from the dam. This is a 1 hour hike over a gravel street basically flat, level 2 for distance, level 1 for difficulty. Bring extra water and wear hiking boots. If interested email [email protected].
