Morning Nature Walk Wednesday

In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they're still beautiful - Alice Walker

Wednesday July 19, 2017 meeting in front of Sugar & Spice located on road leading into Boquete, carpooling at 8:35 to trailhead to begin our 3 hour walk. Below more about the trail.

We will be walking in the Bajo Mono area in a secluded rainforest area, so wear long pants for this walk as the path is narrow in some areas. The trail is beautiful with the Rio Caldera flowing alongside, tall trees. Did you know? Panama has 675 types of ferns, one is the tree fern primarily seen in the rainforest areas of Panama and Costa Rica.

Also pack rain gear and it's also bug biting season so wear bug spray. Include in your pack water, cap/hat, and sunblock, and if you want your camera, binocs. Wear hiking shoes or gym shoes with good outer sole treads is a must.

Join us for the each Wednesday Morning Walk for a 3 plus walk or the popular EZ Friday Nature Walk also for 2 plus hours, meeting time 8:30 A.M.

EZ Friday is about nature, we take our time finding the unusual. This is a great walk for birders, nature buffs, we try to identify plant life, birds and insects. Wednesday Morning Walk about getting out and enjoying the fresh air, nature "off the beaten path".

See you on the trails,
