Gualaca/Caldera.  We visit rocks at a hydro project as well as prehistoric rock carvings in Gualaca.   The trip also includes a complex pyroclastic flow that went down a river leaving deformed and metamorphed river sediments that contain fossil shells. Approximately 5 hours

These trips are free of charge but individual vehicles are used.  Trip leader is Dr. Paul Myers, emeritus professor of Geology at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire assisted by Geologist Martita Stearns.  For more information or to register write:  [email protected].
