This is a local trip introducing participants to the geology of the Boquete area. Participants travel by car to a number of sites in the Boquete area and can learn about the importance that the volcano Baru had on building the local landscape. This is a half day trip. The trip is under the supervision of Dr. Paul Myers, emeritus professor of Geology at the University of Wisconsin. There is no charge. For reservations please email: [email protected].
