There are a few slots available for an introduction to the geology of the Boquete area. The trip will take place on Monday April 4. Participants will meet at the San Francisco Plaza at 8 a.m. This trip normally takes about 4 hours. Very little walking is required. We drive to several sites around Boquete. If you would like to participate please contact Welthy at welthyh@gmail.com. Reservations are on a first come basis. If you are willing to drive, please indicate this in your response along with the number of people in your party and their names. All participants are asked to wear masks while in the cars and be vaccinated. This field trip is provided by Dr. Paul Myers, a field geologist who taught geology for over 35 years at the University of Wisconsin.
