EZ Friday Walks in Nature

Event details

EZ Nature Walks is an ongoing series of walks every Friday. We walk at a gentler slow pace for 1-1/2 hours and we always go "off the beaten path".

Enjoy good company and being out doors with nature. Walking is one of best exercises you can do for your body.

Meeting 8:30 A.M. in the Plaza San Francisco parking lot, leaving at 8:35, car pooling to Caldera. No need to RSVP just show up.

This Friday, we walk on one of Caldera's old country roads where locals ride on horse back into the village and where the Rio Chiriqui Grande flows gracefully alongside the road, we will be walking on. This road trail is dirt, flat with a few rocks.

What to bring? Water, umbrella to protect you from the sun, hat or cap, wear sun block, hiking shoes and bring your hiking stick; I have some sticks to loan.

Dressing attire should be light-weight clothing as it is warm in Caldera.

See you on the trail,

Jere McCormick
