We invite you to join the next Being Prepared Workshop
Date: Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00am – 12:00 Noon in-person
Place: Animales Event Center, Alto Boquete
Now is the time to Be Prepared for Accidents, Illness and End of Life in Boquete.
The workshop will offer guidance to:
Navigate the paperwork that will put you in legal compliance with Panama laws.
Think about the difficult questions on your end-of-life care.
Get your affairs in order.
Provide peace of mind for yourself and your loved ones.
You will need:
A face mask per Boquete Health and Hospice policy.
A Being Prepared for End of Life in Boquete Manual:
Hard copy available in English and Spanish for a $10.00 donation at the BHH table at the Tuesday Market at TapOut or Mail Boxes, Etc.

GUIDED MARKET TOUR WITH 5 COFFEE TASTING
Discover the local seasonal products, grown by our Boquete farmers.
After a guided tour of different shops at the Municipal Agricultural and Artisan Boquete Market, you will be able to taste 5 different coffees from our Small Coffee Growers.
Duration: 1.5 hrs approx

Community Christmas Party Hosted by Amigos de Boquete Comunidad

The party was planned and executed by a recently formed group of expats under the name of Amigos de Boquete Comunidad (ABC). Joe Hart and his wife, Linda, along with numerous volunteers put together this festive gathering. Our hats off to Joe, Linda, and all of their elves.

ARF Thanksgiving Meal

An unexpected plus for us was that we finally got to meet Beth Abrahams (it is kind of a long story, don't ask).

We also got to catch up with all of the latest travels and happenings of our friends who were at our table. Met a few new people, etc.
There simply was nothing that we could fault (not our goal anyway). This is the way things should be done, and ARF did it with all of their wonderful volunteers. If someone found fault with something yesterday, then I would chalk them off as being a token curmudgeon. Thank you ARF! GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you to all who helped make yesterday's Thanksgiving Day celebration such a huge success, and special thanks to N&N:
