The 8th Annual Heliconia Plant Sale and Garden Open House will be held in the Barriles area of Volcán, July 2nd and 3rd from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

Driving instructions:
We recommend that you wear shoes for walking, and that you bring an umbrella! The parking area is a short distance from the garden. People with limited mobility will be allowed to enter by car.
To get to Heliconia Garden, arriving from La Concepción:
Go straight through the center of Volcán, as if towards Río Sereno (if you pass El Centro San Benito or Hotel Dos Rios, you have gone too far).
Turn left just after passing Hotel Don Tavo, still in the town of Volcán. This is the road to Caizan.
Continue 6 km, crossing a concrete bridge at 5 km.
Pass the tourist attraction Sitio Barriles. In another 50 meters, turn right on the gravel entrance.
Park at this corner, and walk 200 meters to Heliconia Garden.
