This event began 03/01/2018 and repeats every 2 weeks on Thursday for 1 occurrence
Our goal: To further the enjoyment, knowledge, and mastery of photographic skills.
The Club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 3:30 pm at the Boquete Library, unless an alternative place or time has been announced.
Membership Dues are currently $35 per year, due in January each year. Guests are always welcome.
A suggested donation to the Library of $1 per meeting for members is requested ($3 for guests).
Regularly recurring segments of each meeting include:
Favorite Photographer: find a photographer whose work you particularly enjoy or are inspired by or from whose work you would like to learn techniques.
Show & Tell: bring equipment or peripherals, etc. to explain and /or demonstrate.
Portfolio: display a selection of your work, with emphasis on techniques used to capture images or to process them. Use photos that you yourself find satisfying.
Critiquing: Bring an 8x10 print (or your laptop) to share a work that you are challenged by or would like help with. This segment is specifically designed to facilitate feedback such that you will be able to improve or enhance your skill as a photographer.
As a member, you are encouraged to participate in these segments.
