Asociacion Caridad de lo Comunidad de Boquete
(Charity Association of the Community of Boquete)
A Panamanian Non-Profit Association
Every 2nd Wednesday of each month, ACCBoquete holds it meeting at Casa Vieja, also known as Stone Cabins, on the open air covered back patio. We have social hour and lunch from 11am and meeting starts promptly at noon until 1:00PM. We have informative and interesting guest speakers at the beginning of the meeting, limiting to 15 minutes, after which we conduct our always interesting meeting with updates on our current and upcoming events. Everyone is welcome, whether invited or not, to see if you may be interested in joining us with our never ending projects to help the needy families, Indigenous and Panamanians, with food, used clothing, toys, school supplies, baby needs, dog food and special laughs from Mona Lisa the Clown to entertain and give every child a balloon to keep. As MINSA regulations decrease we will get back into our routine of hosting fun events to continue to raise money and support the needy families that are not as fortunate as we are. Come check us out and help us make a difference in our Boquete Community. Annual membership is $30.00 per person and a one time fee of $11.00 for an ACCB beautiful blue golf shirt with your name on it.
Interested individuals can contact Linda at lhart249@hotmail.com or Bill Hurley at wfhurley@gmail.com.

Community Christmas Party Hosted by Amigos de Boquete Comunidad
By Moderator_02,
The party was planned and executed by a recently formed group of expats under the name of Amigos de Boquete Comunidad (ABC). Joe Hart and his wife, Linda, along with numerous volunteers put together this festive gathering. Our hats off to Joe, Linda, and all of their elves.
Here are a few pictures from this event:

ARF Thanksgiving Meal
By Bud,
An unexpected plus for us was that we finally got to meet Beth Abrahams (it is kind of a long story, don't ask).
Beth Abrahams
We also got to catch up with all of the latest travels and happenings of our friends who were at our table. Met a few new people, etc.
There simply was nothing that we could fault (not our goal anyway). This is the way things should be done, and ARF did it with all of their wonderful volunteers. If someone found fault with something yesterday, then I would chalk them off as being a token curmudgeon. Thank you ARF! GREAT JOB!!!!
Thank you to all who helped make yesterday's Thanksgiving Day celebration such a huge success, and special thanks to N&N:
I will close with: we all have a lot to be thankful for.
