As well as intimidating jungle footage, the film demonstrates the desperation and determination of global migrants who risk their lives making this trek.

There is an article in LaPrensa today June 29th stating that the Panamanian Border Police SENAFRONT and the SNM Immigration Service are backed up down at the last outpost in the Darien Gap. There are 70 Cubans there at the moment and about 130 people of East Indian origin just arrived. There are only 120 beds.
