Here are two pictures of Anouk visiting with Dra Chely this morning. One can tell just by watching her interaction with Anouk that Dra Chely genuinely cares about pets.

Dra. Chely does indeed genuinely care about pets. When we came to Panama 11 years ago, we brought with us a female pit bull named Chyna. She was a sweetheart but, admittedly, formidable looking. The first time Chyna and I visited Dra. Chely, whether for routine stuff or an emergency I don't recall, it was memorable. Following her ministrations, Dra. Chely took Chyna's face in her hands and noisily kissed her right on her bulldog lips. I don't believe many people would have done that.

Ok, OK!!   My guilt is high, the cats haven't been to the vet in ages.   It doesn't look too traumatic,, I'm going to take them in!!  Thanks for the nudge. Dr. Chely looks like a fine choice.

I had to take one of my semi-retarded rescue dogs in to Dra. Chely's clinic a couple of weeks ago for a badly cut foot. The people who were in the clinic when we arrived we're having an emotionally bad time because they were there for Dra. Chely to put down their elderly dog who had bone cancer.

When the procedure was over, it was my turn to go in and Dra Chely cried during the entire 20 minute visit time we were there. She is definitely a sweetheart.

Dra Chely helped me end my 18 year old cat Jakes life as well and we both cried.  She is a true animal lover and is compassionate beyond compare.  Bless her heart.

Dr Chely is a good vet, we love her, she come to see all the pack at DogCamp, deworm pills, shots, blood test, everything!!! DogCamp is in good hands!

We are so happy for Anouk, we rescued this beautiful dog and thanks to Marcelyn and Bob who decided to foster Anouk, but they adopted him. ?
