Last Friday we received a call from Heather Dyer asking for help for a dog who was living in a cage, we went to see the dog and then went to the Corregidor but the office was closed. We called the Corregidor the last Monday and ask her for help about this case. The Corregidor went to see the dog and now the animal is free again. We will be in contact with Heather and the Corregidor to be sure the dog is safe.

You can go to the pet store "mascotas" in the town and tell that you will buy anything of these items to support the DogCamp and you will receive a disscount of 5% You can contact us and we will go to pick it up. Bobby is a very sweet dog, loves to be near his owner, loves the company, he is a year and a half old, he is neutered and with all his shots At the beggining is a little shy but if you give a lot of love, he will be the perfect company, He is good with other dogs, puppies, old dogs and cats. He knows how to walk on a leash near to you.

The dogs from DogCamp say thank you for all your support during this year. With your help we could help and rescue many animals. Remember that we are only two person trying to help animals in the Community. Actually we have 39 dogs plus our own three dogs, total 42 dogs and 2 cats (Arf is in charge of 7 dogs)

Today we received Junior, he is a male puppy one month old, he was found for Laura crying near to her house in Volcancito. Now he is with us at the Dog Camp. Laura will cover all his expenses and we will take care of him. Tomorrow we will take Junior to see Dr. Chely!

Yesterday, when full of Christmas Eve shoppers, there was a big upset in Multiplaza, Panama's most upscale mall.
Word got passed around on social media that the President was going to be giving away free Nike shoes there. All a body had to do was show up and ask for the shoes to be charged to the account of Juan Carlos Varela, so hundreds of people arrived for the supposed giveaway, which of course didn't happen.

Remember Patty? The dog that many people in the town, three months ago, wanted to rescue. Well today is one of the best day for her and for us.

About twenty 'excursionists' had to be plucked off Volcan Baru last night around midnight, with the first group arriving to Boquete about 5:00 a.m.
What's up with these folks? One guy there appears to be only wearing a t-shirt.
Does anyone else feel that these tpes should be heavily fined or sentenced to community service.? These rescues cost money, and a lot of lost sleep, for personnel and volunteers who are putting their own selves at risk.

Not a bad vacation. A little warm but the carribean breezes makes it ok. San Felipe Castle was the most interesting site there. The walled city is unique and has good shopping and restaurants. Snorkeling trip was a bust. High winds, huge waves and strong undercurrents had the bottom and coral reefs less visibile. Don't know the next vacation spot YET!
