The owners/administrators of Chiriqui.Life are happy to announce that registered memberships in our website have passed the 500 level, and in only a bit more than four months of having gone live. Thank you to all of our members, our unregistered guests (who can view content but not post content), and our small group of advisers.
We are not resting on our laurels. We know that some members find CL to be difficult to use. We are working on that issue, but we need to carefully assess options and implement changes. There is additional functionality that we want to bring online as well.
It is our view, supported by feedback from some of the more active members, that the calendar functionality and its associated "upcoming events" panel that displays on the forum index page and the blog homepage is a really important feature of CL. Some members suggest it is the most important feature of CL. If you haven't looked into the calendar/upcoming events panel to see how they can help you schedule activities, then we recommend that you do so at your earliest convenience.
We are also working on helping members go very quickly to the activity stream functionality so that you can immediately see only the latest postings on CL without having to slug through the many different forums.
